Effective Date: April 1, 2021

For the purpose of this Program, a Single Family Builder (“SFB”) is defined as a licensed home builder whose primary business is the construction and sale of single, residential homes and who conducts business under a registered company name.

Program Description:

The Program provides SFBs with an additional incentive on purchases of 3 or more major appliances per home, on qualifying models. Specifically, Whirlpool Canada LP (“Whirlpool”) will issue a non-reloadable Visa* prepaid cash card(s) (“Visa Prepaid Card”) in the amount equal to an eligible percentage off the MSRP pre-tax price on qualifying purchases to SFBs that meet eligibility requirements, subject to an approval process by Whirlpool.

Eligible Visa Prepaid Card Amounts:

3%     all qualifying JennAirⓇ products
2%     all qualifying KitchenAidⓇ products
2%     eligible MaytagⓇ and WhirlpoolⓇ laundry pairs (where “pair” is 1 washer and 1 dryer)**

**Laundry pairs only qualify for the Program if purchased with 3 or more JennAir or KitchenAid products; eligible laundry pairs are as follows:

Builder Registration Process:

All builders who wish to participate in the Program will receive instructions from their respective dealer, at the time of purchase.

SFBs must register with Whirlpool on whirlpoolcentral.ca/custombuilder and create a profile with a username and password, which includes providing the following details:

• Business name, address and contact phone number
• Business license number

Once builder registration is approved by Whirlpool, the SFB will be able to submit claim(s).
The data collected on whirlpoolcentral.ca will be transferred to Whirlpool’s Program Claim Administrator, 360 Insights, to be pre-populated to simplify the registration process.

Submitting a Claim:

• SFB will re-enter the Whirlpool Central site and click on “Make a Claim”.
• First Time Claims:
  • SFB will be directly connected to www.whirlpoolbuilderloyalty.ca where a username and password is required. (Existing/registered SFBs will use existing credentials)
• SFB is now registered to make a claim. The following information is required:
  • Purchase details (obtained from the purchase invoice)
  • Upload build permit copy (permit address must match invoice address)
  • Upload invoice (proof of purchase indicating paid in full)
• Whirlpool will review and audit the claim, prior to approval.
• Visa Prepaid Cards for approved claims will be sent out via regular mail within 2-4 weeks from date of approval of claim, to the business and address as provided in the builder registration process.

Program Eligibility and Specific Requirements:

Whirlpool will issue the Visa Prepaid Card for JennAir products purchased by SFBs on the following terms:

• Registered business name must be included on the purchase invoice as the ‘sold to’ name.
• The delivery address must be the same as the address noted on the submitted build permit.
• Visa Prepaid Card must be claimed within 3 months after the delivery date.

Failure to Comply:

Any SFB found to be in violation of the Program terms and conditions, as determined at the sole discretion of Whirlpool, will not be eligible for the Program going forward and any claims submitted as of the date of the violation as determined by Whirlpool, will be ineligible. Notwithstanding that all other requirements of the Program are met, Whirlpool may in its sole discretion, suspend or prohibit the SFB from participating in the Program or similar program, and will not be responsible in any way for an SFB’s failure to comply with federal, provincial and local laws and/or regulations.

Other Terms:

• Qualifying products are only those included on Whirlpool’s price sheet within 12 months of product purchase.
• This Program excludes second channel products, obsolete models and models discontinued by Whirlpool.
• One claim may be made by a SFB per home built by that SFB.
• Invoice must be paid in full and be issued in the SFB’s name (for example, invoice may not be issued in name of designer, consumer, etc.).
• Claimback may only be made after the date of product delivery; in the event of multiple delivery dates, final date of delivery.
• In the event the Program is terminated by Whirlpool, SFB may claim any eligible purchases up to a maximum of 60 days after the date of Program termination.
• Limit of 2 units of the same product may be purchased by a single SFB per home built.
• Whirlpool, in its sole discretion, may decide and communicate at any time at its discretion, that certain JennAir products do not qualify for the Program.

• Offer does not apply to purchases made prior to Program start date.
• Offer is not convertible into cash.
• Program is applicable in Canada only and all pricing is in Canadian dollars.
• SFBs are under no obligation to participate in the Program and will in no way suffer in their business relations with Whirlpool as a result of failure to participate in the Program.

Disclaimer: This Program is subject to change at Whirlpool’s discretion. Whirlpool reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the Program at any time without notice, written or other. Any SFB invoices dated after the date of Program termination are deemed ineligible for the Program.
